March 27, 1997. The first supercell of the year in Oklahoma City.
April 24, 1997. Dust devil near Lamesa, Tx.
May 7, 1997. News crews film Cloud 9 Tours and storms north of Clarndon,
Tx.
May 14, 1997. Mamattus at sunset south of Lamesa, Tx.
May 24, 1997. We saw a nice lightning display in SW Kansas.
May25, 1997. A tornado outbreak in Southern Kansas gave Cloud 9 Tours a
great day of chasing. Casey Crosbie Deployed the "Dillo-Cam"
in the path of a large tornado near Perth, Ks. The Dillo-Cam recorded the
tornado as it passed directly over it.
May 26, 1997. The next day, we were treated to another outbreak south of
Tulsa, OK.
June 9, 1997. A small tornado forms near Littlefield, Tx. and the storms
rain themselves out before sundown.
Even non-severe storms can be pictoresque.
October 8, 1997. Matt Biddle and I took Jonathan Lemkin (writer for Twister
II) out on a chase and saw a rare fall tornado near Billings, Ok.
