Image© Damage from the tornado near Allison, Tx on June 8 1995. This shows where the survivors hid while the tornado sat nearly stationary for about 10 minutes over them. This was the basement of their house. An Axle from a truck or tractor landed next to them. It was removed before the picture was taken. The spot where the garage sat with two new cars in it can be seen in the background. The cars are now off the picture to the left. Another car was thrown several hundred yards away.
