Solo chase to central Oklahoma. I chased the storms from Ponca City to Ada. I shot some nice lightning just NW of Ada. At the time, the storm re-organized and put down a large tornado to my west. I got some nice structure of the storm as it did that. In Ada I had high winds with small hail.

Solo chase to north central Oklahoma. Two main storms formed. I waited in my target spot as the northern storm formed just to my west. I got under the updraft and experienced one inch hail before the storm even showed up on radar. It soon formed a wall cloud, but there was very little visible rotation in it. I continued north and saw some hail that was at least 1.5 inches. Then storm looked like it was falling apart, so I left it in favor of the southern storm that was moving my way. Then I looked back and saw my storm was reorganizing and I turned around again. It went tornado warned, but there were no roads to get to it from y position, so I went back to the southern storm. I got a view of it as it became high based, but had some nice structure and lightning.

First chase of the year. We watched one supercell from just west of Nash, OK to east of Arkansas, City, KS.
The storm was moving at 50 to 55 MPH. We drove right up under the meso north of Newkirk, OK. When the storm got ahear of us and moving away at 55mph, we stopped to get a view of the back side of the storm. We noticed a tornado under the flank of the storm in the distance.
