All lights and cords are stored in plastic tubs.

The pole is made up of landscaping timbers bolted together. The top section is 1-1/4 inch emt conduit. The very top connecter is made out of emt fittings and brass hooks. This fits on the end of the pole and the star assembly fits into the top of it.

To put the lights up, I have to climb the pole. I mounted bolts on it to act as steps.

The lighted balls in the tree were made from 50- 9oz solo cups and 100 lights. Instructions for making them can be found at:
